Group Product Owner (Credit)

About The RoleAs the Group Product Owner – Credit, you’ll be at the helm of one of Wio Bank’s most critical verticals, leading the end-to-end strategy, development, and execution of our digital credit and lending products across SME and Retail segments. You will define the future of how our customers access, experience, and benefit from credit — driving innovation, simplicity, and impact in a digital-first, customer-obsessed environment. What You’ll Be DoingDefine and own the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for credit and lending products across SME and personal banking.

Lead the discovery, prioritization, and delivery of lending solutions — including credit cards, working capital, term loans, POS lending, and embedded finance use cases. Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Risk, Finance, Treasury, Core Banking, Operations, and Legal to ensure scalable and compliant execution. Champion seamless integration of credit products with other product verticals (Accounts, Payments, Investments, etc. ) to offer unified and intuitive customer journeys. Partner with Data and Engineering teams to deliver smart, insight-driven credit journeys powered by risk models, behavioral data, and financial profiling.

Balance speed with scalability by owning the full lifecycle — from ideation to build, test, launch, and iterate. Act as a thought leader on digital credit innovation and drive differentiation in the MENA digital lending ecosystem. What We’re Looking For6–8+ years of experience in product ownership or product leadership roles in digital lending/credit (SME or Retail segments). Strong knowledge of credit lifecycle and products including business loans, personal loans, credit cards, embedded lending, and underwriting. Hands-on experience building and scaling digital credit experiences in fintechs, neobanks, or innovative financial institutions.

Deep familiarity with core banking, credit scoring models, and data-driven risk decisioning platforms. Proven ability to lead cross-functional squads across product, tech, risk, and business functions in agile environments. Strong commercial acumen with a user-first mindset — you obsess over simplifying financial decisions for users.
