About The RoleThe Lead BSA Data Scientist at Green Dot plays a pivotal role in advancing our compliance and anti-financial crime initiatives through sophisticated data analytics. This position involves designing, developing, and implementing advanced machine learning models, algorithms, and analytics solutions aimed at detecting suspicious activities related to money laundering, fraud, and other financial crimes.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with compliance, risk management, and technology teams to enhance our transaction monitoring systems, improve suspicious activity reporting, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements such as the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) standards. As a senior data science professional, you will analyze large datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and trends, providing actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making. Your expertise will help refine risk assessment methodologies, optimize fraud detection capabilities, and stay ahead of emerging financial crime trends.
