About The RoleAvela is seeking a dedicated contract Data Entry Specialist to support our daily data management operations. This role is essential in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our data systems, which underpin our platform’s functionality and our clients’ trust.
The successful candidate will be meticulous, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently within a remote team environment. This position offers an immediate start and involves approximately four hours of work daily, Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling between 2 pm and 11 pm PT. The role also requires bi-weekly participation in a 30-minute virtual meeting scheduled between 8 am and 3 pm PT.
The primary responsibilities include exporting data from the Avela system to Excel CSV files, copying and pasting data into Google Sheets, filtering data exports, uploading CSV files back into the system, and proactively communicating progress and issues to the Avela Client Services Team. This work is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our platform, supporting school enrollment processes, and ultimately impacting students’ educational experiences. We seek candidates committed to at least six months, with a preference for those available for a full year, to foster continuity and ongoing contribution to our mission.
