Job Description

Branch Manager (North)Position Overview We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Branch Manager to lead operations, drive profitability, and grow our customer base. The successful candidate will ensure exceptional customer service, maintain a well-stocked and visually appealing store, and oversee all fresh produce departments. Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)1. Staff ManagementTrain and develop employees according to job descriptions. Ensure performance appraisals are conducted every three months. Oversee employee discipline and manage corrective procedures. Enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding breaches of company rules. Manage staff schedules and ensure weekly timekeeping records are updated. 2.

Sales & PromotionsMonitor and improve customer service standards. Manage key department orders (Bakery, Takeaway, Perishables). Report scanning issues to the buying department. Ensure correct display of promotional materials and distribute promo sheets at launch. 3. Merchandising & HousekeepingMaintain proper product assortment and stock levels. Oversee cleanliness and equipment maintenance in service departments. Ensure correct stock rotation and accurate shelf placement. 4. Administration & SalesVerify production records daily. Conduct daily inspections with management staff. Ensure accurate processing of Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs). Manage waste control documentation. Perform daily stock takes and track turnover vs. budget. Implement daily sales targets and corrective actions. 5.

Risk Control, Health, Safety & Environment (SHE)Enforce compliance with SHE regulations. Report all security and risk incidents. Conduct safety inspections and escalate concerns. 6. Asset ManagementOversee use, recording, and maintenance of company assets. Report asset-related issues promptly. 7. General ResponsibilitiesResolve employee relations issues in consultation with HR or the Regional Manager. Perform other duties as assigned.
