Job Description

Branch Manager (Gobabis)Position Overview We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Branch Manager to lead operations, drive profitability, and grow our customer base. The successful candidate will ensure exceptional customer service, maintain a well-stocked and visually appealing store, and oversee all fresh produce departments. Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)1. Staff ManagementTrain and develop employees according to their job descriptions. Conduct performance appraisals every three months. Oversee discipline, provide counseling, and manage corrective procedures. Enforce strict zero-tolerance policies for breaches of company rules. Manage staff work schedules and ensure accurate timekeeping. 2. Sales & PromotionsMonitor and improve customer service standards.

Manage key department orders (Bakery, Takeaway, Perishables). Report scanning issues to the buying department. Ensure proper display of promotional materials and distribute promo sheets. 3. Merchandising & HousekeepingMaintain product assortment and stock levels. Oversee cleaning and equipment maintenance in service departments. Ensure proper stock rotation and accurate shelf placement. 4. Administration & SalesVerify and upload production records daily. Conduct daily inspections with management staff. Oversee Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs) and claims procedures. Manage waste control documentation and stock takes. Monitor turnover, shrinkage, and daily sales targets. Enforce double-checking procedures at Receiving. 5. Risk Control, Health, Safety & Environment (SHE)Ensure compliance with SHE regulations.

Report risk incidents and conduct safety inspections. Address and escalate safety concerns promptly. 6. Asset ManagementOversee proper use, recording, and maintenance of company assets. Report asset-related issues to the Regional Manager. 7. General ResponsibilitiesResolve employee relations issues in consultation with HR or the Regional Manager. Perform other duties as assigned.
