Job Description

About WoltAt Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe. Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies.

You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life. Our Merchant partners, such as restaurants and retail stores, are vital to Wolt’s success. Through our platform, we help them grow while offering our customers exciting new options. Today, we work with over 100,000 Merchants across 30+ countries.

To support this ecosystem, we have a Global Merchant team that collaborates with local teams to improve how we acquire, onboard, and manage Merchants while ensuring a best-in-class experience. This is where you come in. As part of the Merchant Finance & Strategy team, your role is to support the financial and operational performance of our Merchant activities. You'll be involved in everything from annual planning to weekly performance reviews. You’ll lead business review processes and take on deep-dive projects to identify opportunities and risks across all 30+ Wolt markets spanning from Finland to Greece and from Germany to Japan.

You'll work closely with the five-member Merchant F&S team, partner with Global and Local Merchant teams, and collaborate with regional Finance & Strategy colleagues who oversee country-level P&Ls. The items we’re mainly engaged with include e. g. commissions and other Merchant fees, headcount and payroll for the local Merchant teams, advertising activities and other vendor services. About The Finance & Strategy Team At WoltThe Finance & Strategy (F&S) team ensures that our top management, both central and in the 30+ countries that we operate in, have timely, correct and insightful information at hand for decision making.

We strive to help and challenge our stakeholders to make sure we’re optimizing all aspects of the business. We’re responsible for Wolt’s management reporting, P&L analysis, forecasting & planning processes and related systems. Our stakeholders vary from our investors and top executives to country and functional leadership, as well as the wider finance team that we’re an integral part of. We at Wolt make decisions based on analysis and data, and thus the ability to work with numbers is part of our DNA.

Most people at Wolt crunch data on a daily basis, including our CEO. In this company figures really matter, which makes your role all the more important.
