Job DescriptionWood is recruiting for an National Offshore Integrity Technician to join our team in Equatorial Guinea. Required to ensure the interface between the offshore construction teams and the integrity team onshorePlease note this position is only to National Equatorial Guinea personnel. Location: offshore Equatorial GuineaRotation / Work Pattern: : 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off, 7-day week / 12 hour dayResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
Assist in collecting the information required to update the RBI and the IMSCarry out NDT (UTM, MPI…) of new spools fabricated by the construction team + reporting Supervise the topside integrity inspection campaigns (one or two campaigns per year) which are done by third-party rope access inspectorsCarry out inspections of some of the linesIf already trained as L1 join the rope-access team during inspection campaignsSupervision of the contractors involved in projects managed directly by the integrity departmentPosition would be mostly on an FPSO, but he would also spend some time on other installations during the inspection campaigns there and for specific needs.
Understand welding procedures and repair methodologies required in regard to current API /ANSI repair methods. Understanding of API/ANSI pipe and vessel requirements and pressure ratings flange requirements, etc. Document control of all repairs and 3rd party requirements such as welders qualifications, welding procedures, pressure testing requirements for repairs as per API/ANSI, material specifications for repairs, etc. Suggest repair methods following integrity problem. SAP competent to archive all the reports, notification creation.
