Job DescriptionRemarkable people, trusted by clients to design and advance the world. Wood is recruiting for an Offshore Roustabout to join the team in Equatorial Guinea. Duties include but are not limited to general labour in the operation and maintenance of the platform facilities. Assists in the operation and maintenance of oil and gas production facilities under general supervision in a manner consistent with regulatory and environmental rules, regulations, and testing procedures. Please note this position is only to National Equatorial Guinea personnel. Location: offshore Equatorial GuineaRotation / Work Pattern: 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off, 7-day week / 12 hour dayResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:

Under close supervision, assists in Operation and Maintenance tasks for oil and gas production facilitiesClean, paint and maintain facilitiesSafely operate hand and power tools associated with Industrial Piping constructionPerform and assist with crane rigging operationsWorking at heights assisting scaffolders and other personnel Lead by example and promote safety polices, practices and a safe work culture while on the jobQualificationsWhat makes you remarkable?Essential Requirements For RoleSeveral years experience as an Offshore Roustabout in the oil & gas industryBOSIET & MIST certificationHigh School Diploma or equivalentBasic understanding of piping bolt-up, an understanding of torque valves and follow company torqueing procedure and an understanding of hand and pneumatic torqueing equipmentSafely operate hand and power tools associated with Industrial Piping constructionDesirableCommunicate effectively in English orally and written Ability to work at heightsAbility to take direction and adapt to changing priorities in a challenging environment Ability to work in a multi-cultural Team environment Basic maths knowledgeAbout UsWood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
