Build a good relationship with Carriers (air and sea) in coordination with the Department Manager Monitor rules, regulations, and procedures Conduct field visits (when necessary) with sales team to ensure customer’s support and satisfaction Maintain current knowledge of relevant legislations, political situations and other factors that could affect the movement of freightAssist clients in the event of a claimHandle minor problems related to transportation of cargo and report major issues to operations manager Participate in consolidation of information and preparation of reports as requested by department managerAd-hoc projects when required Job requirementsBachelor Degree in Business Administration with emphasis on Transportation and Logistics2-6 years of experience in the Freight Forwarding field or shipping line operations, specifically in export/import processesExperience in vessel services companies is not considered relevant to this roleKnowledge of all port authority procedures and regulationsNote:
