Workfast is seeking reliable Civil Labourers to join the early stages of a major rail and civil infrastructure project in the Cootamundra region, just north of Wagga Wagga, NSW. Pay Rate: $37. 25 p/hr + Overtime + SuperLocation: Cootamundra / Junee region, NSWHours: 6: 00am start, 10 hour shiftsStart Date: Early AugustThis is a long-term opportunity on a large-scale Tier 1 infrastructure program delivering over 35km of new rail and civil works. The project includes bulk earthworks, drainage, road realignments, and rail corridor construction — with up to 2 years of work on offer.
What You Will Be DoingAssisting with cut and fill earthworks and general site prepLabouring support for plant operators, trades and concretersSpotting for machinery and working around live plantInstalling drainage, rail fastenings, and structural elementsCleaning and maintaining a safe worksiteSupporting multiple civil and rail construction teamsWhat you needConstruction White CardDriver’s LicenceReliable transport to and from sitePrevious experience in civil or infrastructure labouringRIW Card - Bonus Additional tickets beneficial: Roller, Dogman, Confined Space, WAHAbility to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screenSafety-first attitude and strong teamwork skillsBenefits: $37.
