Electromobility and autonomous driving are the future - and this future is largely defined by software. Software-defined vehicles (SDVs) are much more than just means of transport. They are networked, intelligent systems that can respond to a wide range of needs and situations. At the centre is the software that controls the vehicle and enables new functions and updates to be integrated seamlessly.As part of a team of engineers, computer scientists and technicians, you will gain an insight into the development of modern electrics/electronics (E/E) in motor vehicles, one of the most exciting fields in the field of SDVs.Your Tasks:You build demonstrators for trade fairs and presentationsYou implement new functions prototypically in the context of Software Defined VehiclesYou work on concepts for future vehicle architecturesYou support the development and implementation of software-based vehicle systemsThrough your work on modern vehicle electronics, you network across departments with experts from various departments of IAV and continue to develop yourself constantlyNecessary Skills:Ongoing studies in the field of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar course of studyBasic knowledge in programming, for example, Python, nodeJS, C++ or similarVery good knowledge of German and English Desired Skills:Interest in modern vehicle technologies and architecturesNetworked and interdisciplinary thinking and acting at the interface between automotive technology, electronics, and software developmentSystematic and structured working methodsRemuneration is based on our collective wage and salary agreement.
