Through the further development and networking of these assistance systems, future generations of vehicles will be able to drive in a highly automated manner initially and ultimately completely autonomously. In addition to these technical developments, IAV GmbH is also constantly working to improve its internal work and development processes so that they can meet the challenges and complexity of future mobility projects. Some of our areas of expertise in the field of driver assistance systems include adaptive cruise control, active pedestrian protection, blind spot detection, parking assistance, light and vision assistance, emergency braking systems, PreCrash Rear/Front/Side View, lane change assistance, and Car2XSafety.Your Tasks:Familiarization with various measurement methods for recording automotive Ethernet signalsExtension of an existing Python script for automated measurement data evaluationPreparation and presentation of measurement data using PythonCollaboration on the concept development for test automation in the FAS environmentNecessary Skills:Current studies in computer science, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, or a comparable (scientific) degree programWillingness to work and aptitude for acquiring new skillsHigh degree of initiative and creativityAbility to work in a team and open-mindednessVery good communication skillsDesired Skills:Ideally, theoretical knowledge in the field of driver assistance systemsIdeally, practical experience with one of the following programming languages: Python, C programming, VBA, or MATLAB/SimulinkRemuneration is based on our collective wage and salary agreement.
