Position SummaryAs a working student for our Marketing Communications department in the European headquarters of Samsung Semiconductor Europe, you will support our Event Management and Public Relations (PR) activities as well as Brand Communication, incl. social media and intranet. Being a working student in our company, you will enhance your technical and soft skills by learning from our experts and enjoy a competitive salary that reflects both your dedication and the value you bring to our team.If you are available to work 3 days a week (20 hours) onsite in our Munich office and are eager to gain practical experiences in an environment that encourages creativity, we definitely want to hear from you!Role And ResponsibilitiesWhat You Will Be DoingYou will work closely with EMEA event manager to support events in terms of planning process, preparations, reservations, operations support, post-event analysis & reporting, etc.You will support EMEA Public Relations activities in terms of planning press/media activities, preparations, creation of documents, on-site implementation, further follow-ups e.g. handling media inquiries, summarize PR report, etc.You will support to implement continuous professional and technical updates of our company intranet by acting as an interface and working closely with internal- and external stakeholdersYou will support to concept, create and update local contents of Samsung Semiconductor Europe for its social media channels and intranetYou will conduct research on trends, markets and further support at administrative tasksSkills And QualificationsWhat You Will BringYou are working towards or have finished Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or similar and you are currently enrolled in a study program.You have event/PR or online/digital marketing related work experience as working student or relevant internships in a scale of regional/global project.Working experiences in B2B-, semiconductor, automotive, high-tech industry, event- or PR agency is preferred.You are proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point as well as Photoshop, and are familiar with modern systems and tools used for the purpose of Marketing and Communication.You have affinity and understanding for industrial trends and technologies.You are fluent or native in English. German and Korean could be an asset.You have the ability to do copy writing in English and sense of design lay-out for web page.You bring positive, strong customer orientation and can-do attitude with high motivation and excellent time management.You are a team player and have great communication skills with various stakeholders.What We OfferSamsung is a global leader in technology, opening new possibilities for people everywhere.
