AGAbout The RoleWe are looking for a Working Student in Munich to support our Corporate Sustainability team for at least 12 months, ideally longer, and help us drive meaningful change!What you will doYou will be part of the diverse Corporate Sustainability Team, supporting in strategic and compliance related sustainability topics relevant for the global renewable energy activities of BayWa r.e. group and contribute to overall sustainability performance by closely collaborating with expert team members and participating in cross-functional working groups and networks.Assist the sustainability team in monitoring and implementation of variouslegal requirements in regards to human and environmental rights (e.g.supply chain transparency), Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reports and control systems, and driving internal processes for automation to deliver reliable, efficient, and high-quality data.Support with the further development of the corresponding Social Compliance Management System regarding human rights, for example support with due diligence processes such as stakeholder communication, supplier research, and data analysis to identify potential risks.Provide support in sustainability reporting procedures, with a strong focus on EU Taxonomy, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), and greenhouse gas emissions calculations and work with diverse data models that are integrated in our IT landscape.Help with the further development our ESG Compliance Management System by screening relevant sustainability policies for renewable energies and contribute formulating and communication the requirements into resonable actions for the business..What you’ll need to succeedYou study Economics, Business, Law, Natural Sciences or Engineering (minimum of one year)Passion for sustainability, ethical business practices, and human rights. First experience or strong interest in social compliance, due diligence, supply chain, or sustainability reporting.Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.You are very skilled in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook – ideally, also skills in MS PowerBI. Programming skills and experience with Sharepoint would be considered an asset.You are self-motivated and proactiveYou enjoy working in an international environment and speak English and ideally German fluently.
