Wound Care Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Wound Care Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing evidence-based wound care for patients with acute and chronic wounds. This role requires clinical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.Job Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or a related healthcare field — mandatoryValid professional license from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical experience, including at least 1–2 years in wound or skin careProficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systemsStrong knowledge of wound assessment, staging, and evidence-based managementExcellent communication, documentation, and patient education skillsAbility to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamKnowledge of CBAHI standards and quality improvement practices related to wound managementKey Job Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive wound assessments, including staging and documentationDevelop and implement individualized wound care plans based on best practicesSelect and apply appropriate dressings and wound care productsManage and monitor Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT/VAC) systemsEnsure infection prevention and control measures during all wound care proceduresProvide pain management and comfort interventions during treatmentEducate patients and families on wound care techniques and prevention strategiesTrain and support clinical staff on wound care practices and competenciesCollaborate with physicians, dietitians, and rehabilitation teams to optimize wound healing outcomesMonitor and report wound healing progress, incidence rates, and related dataParticipate in quality improvement activities and ensure compliance with healthcare standards
