This includes working independently on standardized and recurring assignments, and under the guidance of senior staff on more complex projects. The role involves researching and developing original content that aligns with business objectives and effectively communicates key messages. A working knowledge of finance, markets, portfolio construction, and the asset management industry is required, along with the ability to interpret quantitative data and utilize tools such as Excel.Primary Responsibilities/essential FunctionsMarketing Content Development:Create original written content for marketing content, market updates, investment reports, and topical articles tailored to diverse audiencesEnsure all content complies with business objectives, brand standards, style guides, and legal and compliance requirementsTranslate marketing content from English into JapaneseProofread and edit content created or translated by other team members to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistencyUpdate existing content to reflect current tone, data, and timeframesCollaborate with internal stakeholders—including Product, Sales, Client Relations, Compliance, and Marketing—to ensure consistency across contentManage writing projects to meet deadlines and maintain quality standardsPerform additional duties as assigned by senior staffParticipate in development, enhancement and utilization of content development tools including AIExamples of Marketing contentMarket commentary and investment reports (monthly, quarterly, annual)Presentation decks for client meetings and internal briefingsProduct brochures and promotional contentLocalized versions of global marketing contentContent for webinars and seminarsWebsite content and subtitles/narration for videos and vodcastsOther marketing-related content used for various mediaSupplementary ResponsibilitiesManage expense reimbursements and maintain accurate records, including coordination with the Finance DepartmentCoordinate with external vendors and overseas teams for various service requests, such as design, translation, and website publicationSchedule and organize meetings for the Marketing DepartmentOrganize and archive electronic files related to created contentCollaborate with other teams on a variety of tasks, including event preparation and on-site support, planning product information content, and compiling market research reportsIdentify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency, such as utilizing workflow management software and integrating AI into document creation processesRequired Skills And QualificationsExceptional written Japanese skills, with a strong focus on fluency, accuracy, and readabilityBasic business-level English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with global teamsStrong diligence and the ability to perform routine tasks consistently while seeking improvements and efficienciesProficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelInitiative in identifying issues and proposing practical solutionsStrong sense of responsibility to complete tasks with the required quality, deadlines, and prioritiesPreferred Skills And KnowledgeFamiliarity with tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Copilot, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Workfront, Bloomberg, and DatastreamKnowledge of equities, fixed income, and macroeconomic markets; CMA or CFA certification is a plusUnderstanding of investment strategies, processes, and opportunitiesGeneral understanding of financial markets and the asset management industry, with a strong willingness and ability to learn financial and investment conceptsCore RequirementsN/A — all role requirements are captured in the sections above.Working ConditionsN/A — this role doesn’t require any environmental conditions inherent to the job that would be considered outside of a normal office environment.In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.You can learn more about our compensation and benefits here.
