Airy, and North Wilkesboro, is seeking an X-Ray Technician to work closely with our Providers and patients to ensure quality patient care and satisfaction.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Explaining procedures to patients and answering questionsPreparing equipment for use as neededPreparing examination space for patient examsPositioning patients for imaging examsMonitoring patients during examsEnsuring the safety of patients during examsCustomer service and detail-orientedAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentBe able to establish and maintain a working relationship with management, staff, and patientsAbility to retain information and pay attention to detailQualifications:Prefer that the applicant has a certificate of completion from a radiography tech-accredited program1+ years of experience in Family Practice, Neurology, Pain Management, and Internal Medicine is preferred, but X-Ray Students are encouraged to applyMust possess excellent documentation skills; experience with Allscripts Pro Suite is a plusAbout Bethany Medical:Bethany Medical is the largest independent, established multi-specialty group in Central North Carolina, serving the Triad and surrounding communities for over 35 years.
