ROLE: M&A Analyst (Non-Financial Due Diligence)LOCATION: Central Kent or OxfordSALARY: £40,000 – £45,000THE COMPANYWe are currently recruiting for an M&A Analyst for a long-established investment and development group operating across both the property and construction sectors. With a strong track record in delivering residential-led schemes and a growing international presence, the business continues to expand through acquisitions, partnerships and strategic development opportunities. As the group evolves, they are looking to strengthen their front-end decision-making with an M&A Analyst focused on the qualitative side of due diligence – supporting smarter investment and acquisition decisions.
This role will be an office based role Monday to Friday. THE JOBThis is a strategic and research-driven M&A Analyst role, working closely with senior stakeholders and investment teams to assess potential acquisitions, development opportunities and joint ventures. Unlike traditional M&A roles, this is not focused on financial modelling – instead, your role will be to uncover the risks, trends and reputational factors that numbers alone can’t show. Key responsibilities include:
Researching and profiling potential acquisition targets or partnersAnalysing company structure, track record, planning history and market positionTracking trends across the property and construction sectorsMaintaining and updating a detailed risk registerProducing insight reports, briefing notes and SWOTs to support decision-makingCoordinating with planning, legal and development teams internally and externallyWHO WE ARE LOOKING FORSomeone analytical, proactive and commercially aware. Ability to dive into complex information and pull together clear, risk-focused insights.
