About the roleWe are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented People Operations Coordinator to join our team of 4.

This role will play a key role in helping us prepare for growth as we scale, with a strong focus on People Operations and the opportunity to lead and support projects across the full employee lifecycle. This role suits someone who is a systems thinker, has strong attention to detail, with an interest in automation and adapting product practices. Your day-to-day responsibilities will look like this:

People OperationsMaintain our HR tech stack, leveraging automation and AI to improve efficiencyEnsure the accuracy and integrity of all HR material and People data, including the generation of contracts for both permanent and contractorsContinuously review, improve, and automate People processesSupport the operational planning and execution of key People initiatives (e. g.

salary reviews, impact reviews, engagement surveys)Maintain up-to-date documentation for policies, procedures, and internal guidesManage the People inbox and act as the go-to person for general People queriesCollaborate with Finance to ensure smooth UK payroll executionManage and administer UK employee benefits, acting as the liaison with benefit providersEmployee ExperienceOwn and streamline onboarding and offboarding, ensuring our mentors (managers) are equipped to deliver a positive experienceAct as the point of contact for the London office and support our London Culture Connectors group in bringing our people togetherMaintain and continuously improve our internal Notion space, ensuring content is accurate, structured, and easily searchable via our AI-powered HR assistant, HarrietBuild a positive office experience for those who use our office, making sure the office is well-stockedPeople ProjectsOwn and support various People initiatives as part of our roadmapLead the organisation and structure of People content in Notion, including templates, policies, and workflowsThis role is for you if:

You have strong HR foundational HR skills, or you're looking to build themYou stay up to date with evolving employment laws and regulations, and you're passionate about ensuring compliance and implementing best practicesYou have experience in People Operations, and you have been part of a progressive People Team who are doing things differentlyYou're excited about automation, AI and using systems to drive efficiency and impactYou're detail-focused, highly organised, and enjoy keeping the machine running smoothlyYou're comfortable working with data, documents, and complianceYou communicate clearly and are comfortable being the first point of contact for People-related queriesThis role is not for you if:

You want a lively office with lots of in-person time. Whilst you would be in our office (near Kings Cross) 2–3 days a week, most of the team is remoteYou prefer predictability. We're growing and pivoting, adaptability is keyYou don't enjoy detail-heavy work. Contracts, right-to-work checks, and precise documentation are critical for this roleYou're not interested in the employment law side of people. We're a T-shaped team, and we need someone who already has/wants to build skills in employment law. Your first 3 months will focus on:
