About The RoleWe’re on the hunt for a high-performing Supervisor (internally known as a Captain) to lead a small crew at our Edinburgh Park operation. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be working shoulder-to-shoulder with the team, coaching and challenging them, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring we deliver safe, efficient and high-quality service every day.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced supervisor or someone who’s currently a team leader and ready to step up into a supervisor role. What You’ll Be DoingOwn the Operation - Oversee the full container unloading operation, ensuring safety, speed, and accuracy from start to finish. Lead with Impact - Manage and develop team leaders and crew, bringing out their best through coaching, accountability, and trust in the process. Customer First - Be the key liaison for our customers. Understand their expectations, build strong partnerships, and ensure we deliver on time and with excellence.
Plan for Success - Forecast and plan workforce needs in advance, aligning rosters and resourcing with customer demand. Safety is Key - Be a safety role model, maintaining compliance and leading by example in every aspect of operations. Lift the Standard - Review team performance daily, identifying opportunities for efficiency, accuracy and leadership growth. Stay Hands-On - Be ready to jump on the tools. Whether it's operating a forklift or helping palletise stock, you lead from the front. Run the Rhythm - Facilitate and participate in all essential meetings, keeping the team aligned and energy high.
What You’ll Bring To The TableProven Leadership - Minimum 3 years experience in leading teams in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations. Strong People Skills - You know how to connect with people, motivate them, and hold them accountable. Safety Mindset - A deep understanding of safe work practices and the ability to instil them into others. Data-Driven - Confidence in using systems and tools to analyse performance, track results, and make continuous improvements. Customer Focused - You understand what matters to customers and how to deliver it while protecting our team and our brand.
