Our flagship programs, Fit for Work and Stepping Up, are designed to provide crucial support and guidance to young individuals on their journey towards employment success.Fit For WorkJoin us in delivering our impactful 10-week program, Fit for Work! This program aims to reconnect disengaged young people with valuable employment opportunities. As a Youth Worker, you will facilitate group sessions focusing on employability and life skills, helping participants develop the confidence and capabilities needed to thrive in the workplace.Key ResponsibilitiesFacilitate group sessions focused on employability and life skillsProvide one-on-one mentoring and support to program participantsCollaborate with employers and community organizations to generate employment opportunitiesAssist in recruitment efforts and program promotionMonitor participant progress and provide ongoing support throughout the program durationMaintain case notes, records and administrative information in order to complete program milestone and case note reporting in accordance with program standardsAttend weekly P.D and program team meetings to contribute towards program evaluation processes. Scheduling the fit for work program and participants, planning and preparing resources, and overseeing and participating in the program.Facilitate delivery of Fit for work in compliance with funder metrics, performance measurements and ensuring the program fits within budget/funding provisionsCollaborate with key stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes to ensure the program is impactfulPerformance monitoring and reporting of the programKey focus on community safety through skill building and behaviour change and capability build.Support the delivery of planned outcomes by providers, including program development, evaluation, and continuous improvement.Provide knowledge and expertise in focus areas for successful program delivery.Qualifications And SkillsMinimum Certificate IV in Youth Work or relevant qualificationExperience in program facilitationDemonstrated experience in youth workStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to engage and motivate young peopleStrong Microsoft Office skillsProven ability to work effectively in a team environmentPassion for making a positive impact in the lives of young individualsJoin us in making a difference and empowering young people to achieve their goals!
