SummaryAMG Vanadium (AMG V) is seeking Production Team Members to join our growing organization at our new Zanesville Plant. AMG Vanadiums Production Team Members perform process support work essential to continuous operations of production related activities. Process Support Team Members operate mobile equipment, machinery, and hand tools, handle vanadium and non-vanadium raw materials and bulk supplies, and stage materials and process set-ups to support the efficient operational production. Supports and maintains 6S and continuous improvement efforts throughout the entire plant.Responsibilities and DutiesComply with all AMG V policies and procedures, safety and environmental requirements, and AMGs Code of Business ConductEmbrace and promote the AMG V culture in all day-to-day activitiesOperate mobile equipment, other machinery, and hand tools as requiredPerform general maintenance and preventative maintenance on equipment as requiredReceive, store, stage, and ship raw materials and end productsComplete safety and environmental checks and documentation as requiredParticipate in 6S and other continuous improvement activitiesClean and maintain plant and facility groundsDemonstrate level of proficiency to work without close supervision and train new employees on process support functionsDevelop solid understanding of AMG V operational metrics that drive business resultsPerforms other duties as assigned .Qualifications/Skills/RequirementsHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent lifetime experienceAble to work 12 hour swing/rotating shifts (weekends included)Experienced in working in fast paced heavy manufacturing environment; steel/hot metal or foundry experience a strong plusMobile equipment certification a plusAble to work in a physically demanding environment; frequent bending, stooping, and lifting of 50 pounds requiredAble to work in both hot and cold environments where the temperature can swing rapidlyMechanical aptitude requiredTeam player; collaborative work approachStrong communication and interpersonal skillsReceptive and adaptable to change and actively involved in continuous learning and continuous improvement activitiesStrong work ethic and good attention to detailAMG Vanadium LLC offers a competitive wage and benefit package and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Qualified applicants should apply online at: www.amg-v.com/careers
