Job Description

Seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Business Operations & Marketing Associate to support our growing operations in Ethiopia. This individual will manage day-to-day in-country operations, assist with marketing activities, and provide direct administrative support to the Founder. The role involves vendor and order management, logistical coordination, marketing support, administrative scheduling, and on-the-ground brand representation. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, resourceful, and comfortable working independently, with strong communication skills.  Key Responsibilities1. Operations & Logistics ManagementOversee the end-to-end order process, from vendor coordination to delivery. Submit product orders to vendors, confirm fulfillment, and ensure on-time delivery.

Track inventory, monitor delivery timelines, and resolve logistical issues. Ensure all packaging meets Legna’s brand standards. 2. Vendor & Partner RelationsIdentify, onboard, and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and service providers. Negotiate and update pricing bi-weekly, ensuring competitive rates without compromising quality. Monitor vendor performance and address issues promptly. 3. Marketing & Brand SupportAssist in executing marketing campaigns, including social media content collection and local event support. Capture high-quality photos of select deliveries for customer updates and promotional use. Upload and organize marketing and other assets in Google Drive for the U. S. team.

Support in gathering stories and testimonials from vendors and customers. 4. Administrative SupportWork directly under the Founder, managing day-to-day updates and follow-ups. Schedule calls, coordinate meetings, and prepare agendas. Assist with document preparation, reporting, and general administrative tasks. Supports overall team as needed5. Customer ExperienceCollaborate with the customer service team to address inquiries, complaints, or delivery changes. Gather feedback from recipients and suggest service improvements. 6. Financial & Compliance OversightCoordinate vendor payments in collaboration with the finance team. Maintain receipts, invoices, and expense reports for accurate record-keeping. Ensure all operations comply with Ethiopian business laws and Legna’s ethical standards.
