Core Responsibilities & Duties1. Trading Operations-Execute cryptocurrency trades (BTC, USDT, ETH, etc) to facilitate international settlements and customer payouts Monitor crypto market prices, trends, and liquidity on multiple exchanges and platforms,-Identify and execute profitable arbitrage opportunities within set risk parameters. Maintain real-time awareness of exchange rate movements (crypto-USD-ZAR and other relevant currencies). 2 Liquidity & Settlement ManagementEnsure adequate crypto balances are maintained to meet daily operational requirements. Coordinate with the Finance and Operations teams for fat and crypto settlements. -wallet-to-wallet transfers, exchange deposits/withdrawals, and payment processing3.
Risk & Compliance-Adhere strictly to RBZ, FIU, and company anti-money laundering (AML/ counter-terrorist financing (CTF) procedures Perform due diligence checks on counterparties and platforms usedMonitor exposure limits and ensure risk is managed in line with company policies. 4. Market Research & Reporting-Provide daily and weekly trading reports on volumes, profits/losses, and positions. -Track and report on crypto regulations, tax implications, and market developments-Analyse market data and provide recommendations to improve trading performance. 5. Systems & Security-Ensure secure handling of private keys, wallet credentials, and trading accounts. -Use company-approved exchanges, OTC desks, and platforms,-Report any suspicious or irregular activity immediately to compliance.

Skills & QualificationsQualifications & Experience•Degree/Diploma in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (preferred). •Proven experience in crypto trading (minimum 1-2 years). •Strong understanding of blockchain, crypto exchanges, and OTC markets. •Knowledge of Zimbabwe's exchange control and financial regulations. •Proficiency in trading tools, charts, and market analysis platforms.
