Use strong attention to detail and sound reasoning skills to conduct investigations Tackle interesting challenges and cases every day to protect Zip from Money Laundering / Terrorism Financing risksHybrid work arrangement, with 2 or 3 days a week in our Circular Quay officeWrite your story with a career at ZipThe purpose of the Anti-Money Laundering / Counter Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) Operations team is to ensure that on-boarded and applying customers are suitable for the Zip platform and that customers operate in a manner that is compliant with Zip’s AML/CTF program.

Cool stuff you'll be working onAs an AML/CTF Associate Analyst in our AML/CTF Operation team, you will own the AML/CTF investigations and ensure Zip meets its compliance obligations. You'll also:

Conduct enhanced customer due diligence on high-risk customers in line with Zip’s enhanced customer due diligence standardIn some cases, this may require contacting the customer and clarifying the source of funds and/or the purpose of the transactionsMonitor customer transactions / behaviour to identify suspicious activity associated with money laundering and/or terrorism financingReport suspicious matters to AUSTRAC in line with the AUSTRAC regulatory requirementsUndertake Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) and sanctions screeningAssist in assessing Zip’s money laundering, terrorism and sanctions risksContribute to developing transaction monitoring rules to detect ML/TF activityWork closely with Zip’s fraud team to ensure reportable fraud is actioned as a financial crimeAssist in managing a financial crime compliance assurance frameworkWhat You’ll Bring To The TeamZipsters work on a broad range of initiatives, and our skills and experiences all look a little different.
