Chief Financial Officer

Position Overview: We are seeking a strategic, business-oriented CFO to lead our financial operations and drive ZTL’s ambitious growth. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a high-performing team, contribute to our vision of disrupting international payments, and shape the financial strategy of a fast-growing Fintech leader. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our operations across the Nordics and Europe. We are located in new offices in the city center of Oslo, Norway. Key responsibilities: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute ZTL’s business strategy.

Define and monitor key financial and operational performance metrics. Act as a key external representative of ZTL, supporting strategic partnerships and investor relations. Serve as a strategic business partner to the CEO and management team. Oversee preparation and presentation of financial reports for the board and stakeholders. Ensure robust financial controls, transparent reporting, and compliance with regulations. Manage capital needs, financing, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow optimization. Establish and refine financial processes and internal controls to support scalability. Drive data-driven decision-making through financial analysis and scenario planning. Experience in developing the HR area and role.

Minimum of 7 years’ experience in senior financial roles, preferably in SaaS, Fintech, or related industries. Deep expertise in financial strategy, economics, and capital management. Strong understanding of technology-driven financial services. Proficiency in MS Office and advanced accounting/ERP systems. Proven leadership in financial operations with a track record of driving growth. Exceptional communication skills in English and any Scandinavian languages (written and verbal). Personal Characteristics: Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset and a drive to deliver results.
