What are we looking for in an AI/ML Manager?We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Manager to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced data science, machine learning, and AI solutions at scale.

The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, combined with proven leadership capabilities, to guide teams in delivering innovative solutions that drive business value. Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is a strong plus, as many of our use cases involve HCP engagement, clinical development process optimization, real-world evidence, patient outcomes, and commercial analytics. At Intellishore, we are what you might call ‘agnostic,’ meaning we act as an objective technology partner, implementing only tailored and best-fit solutions for our clients. Therefore, you should be open-minded and curious to learn new technologies.

Ideally, you match all or most of the following attributes: Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related field. 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI solution delivery - preferably from consulting. At least 2+ years in a leadership/management role is a plus. Proficiency in Python and associated data science/ML frameworks (e. g. , TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Pandas). Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks) for building and deploying AI solutions. Proven experience in implementing ML solutions at scale in the cloud, covering the full lifecycle:

data ingestion, model development, training, deployment, monitoring, retraining, and governance. Strong knowledge of MLOps practices, including CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and retraining strategies. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. Familiarity with LLMs, vector databases, and RAG techniques. Fluency in English - German or French in addition would be a plus. Availability for on-site presence in Zürich. Preferred QualificationsExperience working in or with the pharmaceutical/life sciences industry (clinical, medical, commercial, or supply chain use cases). Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in healthcare and pharma analytics. Knowledge of big data processing frameworks (e. g. , Spark, Hadoop). Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). What will be your key responsibilities?ResponsibilitiesIntellishore is a cross-functional consultancy where you will represent the data science competencies. Here you will be responsible for (among other things): Leadership & StrategyLead projects with a small team of data scientists, ML engineers, and AI specialists to design and implement AI-driven solutions.

Partner with stakeholders to identify business opportunities where advanced analytics and AI can deliver measurable impact. Define best practices for delivering scalable AI solutions across the entire lifecycle, from experimentation to production. Solution Development & DeploymentDesign and implement machine learning and AI models using Python and modern ML libraries. Oversee deployment of solutions in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP, or Databricks) with a focus on scalability and reliability. Ensure solutions are production-ready, secure, and compliant with industry standards. MLOps & Lifecycle ManagementBuild and maintain end-to-end MLOps pipelines including CI/CD automation, model versioning, performance monitoring, and retraining workflows.

Implement data drift and model drift detection strategies, along with automated triggers for retraining. Establish best practices for monitoring, alerting, and continuously improving production ML systems. Innovation & Continuous ImprovementStay ahead of industry trends in AI/ML, cloud platforms, and automation frameworks. Drive adoption of emerging technologies to enhance model accuracy, speed, and business applicability. Cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the AI team.
