Intern (Data Scientist, 6-12 months full-time)

The Data Science intern work closely with the data science team on analytics projects. This could include datapreparation, data cleaning, feature engineering, model building and reporting. Candidate should already haveexperience or background writing SQL and Python to manipulate data. Understanding of data models, datawarehousing or data lakes is a plus. Job ResponsibilitiesTo work closely with the data team on projects related but not limited to predictive modelling, machine learning,NLP, OCR and AI, fraud detection, retention, X-sell and churn. Help to execute the implementation of data science initiatives to improve customer engagement, businessprocesses and product enhancements.

Be part of the Data community and showcase APAC Zurich use casesAssist when necessary the Data Engineering team to put into production the model developed in the Azure DataLake. Explore/acquire new sources of data. Explore modern Deep Learning and NLP techniques on several topics to assess potential implementation for usecases. Job RequirementsCurrently working on a Masters degree in Business Analytics, Computer science, Mathematics, Statistics or arelated field. Experience coding in Python and SQL. Ability to work independently and solve problems. Interested in working in the data science field.
