Role Responsibilities Project Planning & SchedulingDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules using software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

Break down the entire scope of the project into work packages and assign durations, dependencies, and constraints. Create baseline schedules in alignment with the project execution strategy and client requirements. Progress Monitoring & UpdatingTrack project progress against the baseline schedule, identify variances, and provide early warnings on schedule slippage. Update schedules with actual progress, forecast future trends, and highlight critical path deviations. Coordination & Interface ManagementWork closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure timely and accurate schedule inputs. Interface with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to incorporate their deliverables and milestones into the master schedule.

Resource & Cost Loading (as required)Integrate resource and cost data into the schedule to support earned value analysis and workforce planning. Assist the project controls team in aligning schedule performance with cost performance. Reporting & AnalysisGenerate weekly and monthly reports on schedule performance, including critical path analysis, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans. Provide schedule narratives, charts, and dashboards for project reviews and client presentations. Risk & Change ManagementConduct schedule risk analysis to assess potential impacts of identified project risks and mitigation actions. Incorporate approved changes and variations into the schedule in a controlled manner, reflecting impacts on time and sequencing.

Quality Assurance & ComplianceEnsure all scheduling activities follow Zutari’s internal project controls standards and client-specific procedures. Participate in internal and external audits and reviews to verify schedule quality and accuracy. Claims Support (if required)Support the contract and claims team by providing time-impact analyses and as-built vs as-planned comparisons. Maintain complete and auditable schedule change records for use in dispute resolution or extension of time claims. Knowledge ManagementMaintain a lessons-learned log related to scheduling, sequencing, and delays. Contribute to Zutari’s knowledge base by documenting best practices and innovations in schedule management. Minimum Requirements Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in project scheduling, preferably in power transmission, infrastructure, or utility-scale projects. At least 2 years of experience working on large-scale projects involving EPC or FIDIC contracts. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project for schedule development and tracking. Strong understanding of critical path method (CPM), WBS structuring, and schedule risk analysis. Experience in resource and cost loading of project schedules is an added advantage. Project Controls Knowledge:

Familiarity with project lifecycle phases, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Communication & Reporting: Ability to clearly communicate schedule data, generate dashboards and reports, and engage with internal and external stakeholders. Other Requirements: Strong analytical and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Willingness to travel and spend time on-site between Accra and Kumasi as required. Working knowledge of international project management standards and scheduling best practices. Skills, And Characteristics (add If Applicable) Technical Scheduling SkillsProficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project for developing, updating, and analyzing schedules.

Strong knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM), float analysis, and time impact analysis. Ability to develop and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and activity coding. Analytical & Problem-Solving SkillsStrong ability to identify schedule risks, slippages, and resource conflicts. Capable of developing what-if scenarios, recovery schedules, and mitigation strategies. Skilled in performing schedule variance analysis and forecasting. Project Controls IntegrationUnderstanding of how schedule interfaces with cost, procurement, and resource plans. Ability to align scheduling outputs with earned value management and project performance metrics. Communication & ReportingExcellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex scheduling data to non-technical audiences.

Competent in preparing high-quality schedule reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders and clients. Team CollaborationAbility to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and clients. Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate across various functional teams and foster proactive engagement. Attention to Detail & OrganizationHigh level of accuracy in data entry and schedule logic. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple updates, baselines, and change records. Time Management & PrioritizationAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Prioritize tasks efficiently in dynamic project environments. Adaptability & InitiativeFlexibility to adjust to changing project conditions and client needs.

Proactive in seeking solutions and anticipating schedule impacts. Software ProficiencyStrong proficiency in: Primavera P6 Microsoft Project MS Excel (advanced level) Power BI or other reporting tools (added advantage) AutoCAD or GIS tools (advantageous for linear infrastructure projects) Knowledge of Industry StandardsFamiliarity with: FIDIC or EPC contract scheduling requirements Transmission and power sector project workflows International project management standards (e. g. , PMI, AACE) We believe that a diverse workforce is key to our business success.
