With plans to reach $100 million in revenue within the next 3-5 years, our Finance Operations are becoming increasingly complex. We operate as a fully remote team distributed globally and we are now seeking a mid-level Financial Accountant to join our team and support our Senior Finance Manager in scaling and managing our accounting function during this exciting growth phase. About The JobIn this role, you will play a key part in consolidating financial reporting in our international entities (Ireland, Spain, and the US) and ensuring our accounting processes and systems keep pace with our expansion.

You will support the management of core accounting operations (general ledger, reconciliations, accruals and prepayments) and help drive improvements such as a major financial system migration from Xero to a more robust platform. This is a full-time role with significant responsibility and room for growth, ideal for a resilient, proactive accountant who thrives in a dynamic, remote-working environment. RequirementsRoles & Responsibilities: Support core accounting operations - work closely with the Senior Finance Manager to handle day-to-day accounting tasks and special projectsFinancial systems improvement - assisting with the migration from Xero to a more scalable finance system (ERP).

This includes participating in system selection, data migration, process redesign, and user training to ensure a smooth transition and enhanced reporting capabilitiesGroup consolidation - assist with the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close and consolidation process. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements and management reports for the GroupGeneral ledger management - support general ledger management, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date Balance Sheet schedules and ensure all financial data is recorded correctlyAccounts payable/receivable collaboration - work effectively with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable colleagues to streamline billing and payment processesCash management & treasury - support day-to-day banking activities, including management of multi-currency bank accountsCollaboration with FP&A & Data Analytics - assist with the maintenance of data consistency and quality, reporting and analysis support, and cross-functional business partnering for budgeting and strategic decision-makingReporting compliance and statutory audit - ensure all accounting activities comply with FRS102 and relevant local regulations.

Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and the audit processFinancial controls & process improvement - maintain strong financial controls and contribute to improving processes. Identify opportunities for automation or efficiency gains in accounting workflows, helping the finance team scale effectively as the business growsRequirements: Fully qualified accountant with a recognized certification (e. g. ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or ACA). A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is desirableProven experience in an accounting role (mid-level position), ideally 3-5+ years post-qualification. Experience in a Tech or SaaS company is strongly preferredTech-savvy with strong accounting systems experience.

Hands-on experience with Xero or similar accounting software is required. Exposure to or involvement in finance system migrations (e. g. migrating to an ERP like NetSuite, Sage Intact or Rillet) is advantageousSolid understanding of accounting principles and consolidation of multiple entitiesDemonstrated ability to manage general ledger functions, including reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and prepayments. Comfortable handling multi-currency transactions and intercompany entries in a global business. Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across a global remote team.

Capable of explaining financial information to non-finance colleagues clearly and of coordinating with external advisors or auditors when requiredBased in Europe, with the ability to work core business hours in Central European Time (CET).
