Location – Mississauga, ONYour Role Within The TeamThe Business Analyst, reporting directly to the Director, AI and Automation will be responsible for supporting specific aspects within the Digital Solutions team. Responsible for identifying business needs, and bridging the gap between data, technology, and strategic decision-making as required.

Responsible to review existing business processes, systems and operations. Analyze data related to the processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement. Support Director, AI and Automation and Director, Digital Systems to develop project scope and deliverable definition through high-quality analysis for the specific workstreams in collaboration with key stakeholders, through documenting business requirements and objectives. Support team with selection, implementation, operation and support of new software applications. Responsible for optimizing and streamlining practices and procedures to improve performance based on the digital tool implementation. This may include streamlining, redesigning, and optimizing processes, operations and systems.

Responsible for development/writing of operating instructions, training documentation, others as required to support implementationAssist with training during training phase of the implementations, including development of training documentationSupport tool transition, including migration plans, etc. Form and maintain relationships with key stakeholders: internal clients, corporate/global entities, suppliers and project stakeholders as required. The Ideal CandidateUniversity Degree or College Diploma or related experience in Computer Science or Information Management. 3-5 years experience with implementing and modifying business applications. Knowledge of business application development, testing, and maintenance. Experience in a variety of data integration technologies. Advanced Skills using Microsoft 365 and Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, PowerBI. Excellent analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Project forecasting, budgeting and tracking. Travel as necessary.

Understanding of engineering design processes, and an appreciation of the importance of Quality Assurance Programs and their significance to the nuclear industry.
