Location – 415 Eastern Ave, Toronto, ON M4M 1B7Term - Permanent PositionWeekly work hours – 40 hoursLanguage – EnglishWage - CAD $71,000. 00 – $85,000 CAD Annual Vacation - 15 Days per working yearYour role within the team:

Prepare estimates of probable costs of materials, labour and equipment for construction projects based on contract bids, quotations, schematic drawings and specificationsAdvise on tendering procedures, examine and analyze tenders, recommend tender awards and conduct negotiationsEstablish and maintain tendering process and set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and proceduresPrepare cost and expenditure statements and forecasts at regular intervals for the duration of a projectPrepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractorsLiaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors, and prepare economic feasibility studies on changes and adjustments to cost estimatesManage and coordinate construction projects and prepare construction progress schedules.

Overall understanding of project cost, schedule, estimating, progress measurement, and change management. Completion of a three-year college program in civil or construction engineering technology or in a related field;Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in project controls focused on cost control, estimating, and scheduling;English written and spoken. Knowledge of P6, MS Project, Power BI, Heavybid, and JD Edward is an assetStrong MS Excel and presentation skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to clearly and concisely convey recommendations to management / leadershipAre you up for this challenge?
