In this role, you will work hands-on in the installation and maintenance of propane appliances and storage equipment, while providing top-tier customer service. Install and maintain a wide variety of propane appliances and storage equipmentProvide expert service and maintenance to various brands of heating equipment in the field, ensuring customer systems run efficiently and safelyParticipate in on-call shifts during regular and off-business hours to ensure timely customer service and issue resolutionPlan and execute service calls efficiently, ensuring all work is completed on time and to customer satisfactionPromote company offerings to customers, identifying sales opportunities during service calls to help meet branch revenue targetsDeliver exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns, explaining repairs, and maintaining a professional demeanorComplete all required paperwork, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports, in alignment with company policies and proceduresFollow company policies and safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure all tasks are performed safelyConduct site-specific hazard assessments as required by company safety policies and report any unsafe acts or conditions when identifiedPerform daily, weekly, and monthly vehicle inspections to ensure company vehicles are in proper working order, clean, and presentable to uphold the company imageUphold the highest standards of service and safety while representing Avenir Energy in the fieldQualifications:

Minimum G2 certification required, with a willingness to acquire LP endorsement within the first 18 months of employmentOther trade certificates (e. g. , air conditioning, sheet metal, etc.

) are considered an assetMinimum of 2 years of experience in a service technician role, ideally with multi-certificate qualificationsStrong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive client relationshipsClean driving record is a must; DZ license is considered an assetAbility to promote and “up-sell” company services during service calls, helping to drive branch performance and customer satisfactionStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while following company guidelinesExcellent organizational skills, with the ability to complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and on timeCommitment to safety protocols and the ability to work in compliance with all company policiesAvenir Energy is committed to accommodating applicants with disabilities throughout the hiring process.
