Position DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting and enhancing our cybersecurity infrastructure, with a focus on network security and web proxy technologies. This hybrid role requires a strong technical foundation, analytical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic enterprise IT environment. This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our Client office at a minimum 3 days per week - subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities Administer and manage web proxy security solutions, including design and configuration. Support and maintain firewall and Web Application Firewall (WAF) infrastructure. Monitor and respond to gateway security threats, ensuring timely remediation. Analyze and troubleshoot network-related security incidents and vulnerabilities. Apply knowledge of networking protocols, including IP addressing and OSI layers, to support secure network operations. Assist in the implementation of preventative security technologies and controls. Maintain awareness of industry standards, legal and regulatory requirements, and privacy best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with cybersecurity policies and procedures.
Document processes, configurations, and incident responses for audit and compliance purposes. Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role 8+ years of experience in an enterprise IT environment. Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles, particularly in network security. Hands-on experience with: Web proxy security administration and designFirewall and WAF configuration and managementNetworking protocols and infrastructure Understanding of gateway security threats and mitigation strategies. Familiarity with DDoS attacks and remediation techniques. Awareness of security and privacy frameworks, including international standards and regulatory constraints. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry.
Active cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent. Experience with cloud-based security solutions such as Web Security Service (WSS) or ProxySG.
