Position Overview: We are seeking a bilingual Business Development Manager to join our innovation lab in China.

This role is critical in identifying and engaging with Chinese private businesses and manufacturers that are ready to embrace digitalization and AI, and are looking to expand into the North American market. Key Responsibilities: Identify and engage with Chinese businesses interested in digital transformation and AI enablement. Understand client needs, business models, and expansion goals to tailor Sailfish Intelligence’s solutions accordingly. Present and promote Sailfish’s AI and digital services to prospective clients. Facilitate and manage communication between Chinese clients and Sailfish’s North American teams. Build and maintain long-term relationships with new business partners.

Coordinate onboarding, project scoping, and service delivery with internal technical and product teams. Monitor market trends and provide insights to inform product development and strategic planning. Required Qualifications: Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident (mandatory). Fluent in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written). Based in or willing to relocate to Shanghai or Guangzhou areas. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client engagement, preferably in the tech, private business, or manufacturing sectors. Strong understanding of digital transformation, AI technologies, and international business practices.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with or within North American markets. Familiarity with SaaS, AI platforms, or enterprise digital solutions.
