What's the job?What’s the opportunity | He aha te whai waahiWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Wastewater Reticulation Supervisor to join our Water Services team based at the Pines Wastewater Treatment Plant in Rolleston, Canterbury. You will lead the daily oversight and coordination of the reticulation team, managing both scheduled and reactive maintenance across Selwyn District’s wastewater network to ensure its integrity and efficient operation.

To be successful in this position and a leader within our business, you will be a team player who can support and lead a passionate crew who are experts in their field. You will be highly organised and experienced in planning, programming, and allocating resources to achieve contractual outcomes. Daily interactions with the public, clients, and internal stakeholders will require you to have strong written and verbal communication skills. CORDE’s maintenance contract covers the entire Selwyn District, offering a spectacular, safe, and thriving place to live and work.

Ideally, You Will BringLevel 4 Wastewater Reticulation qualification (essential)Great communicator with proven experience in a leadership / supervisory roleClass 1 Driver Licence (essential)Mechanically minded, as the role consists of mechanical repairsOpen to working outside of regular business hours if required (weekends, public holidays, after hours) for scheduled maintenance, on-call needs, or emergencies.
