Job Description

Job Title: Procurement AdministratorDepartment: Supply Chain / ProcurementLocation: Offshore / Onshore Support (Lamprell – UAE or assigned offshore location)Industry: Oil & Gas – Offshore ProjectsReports To: Procurement Manager / Project Procurement LeadJob Purpose: To provide administrative and clerical support to the procurement department, ensuring smooth and efficient procurement operations for offshore oil and gas projects. This role involves maintaining documentation, coordinating with vendors, updating procurement records, and supporting procurement officers in daily tasks. Key Responsibilities: Assist in preparing and issuing Request for Quotations (RFQs), Purchase Orders (POs), and amendments in line with project requirements and company policies.

Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including vendor quotations, POs, delivery notes, and invoices. Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to track and update the status of orders and deliveries. Support in vendor prequalification and onboarding processes in compliance with Lamprell's approved vendor list and HSE standards. Monitor purchase requisitions and ensure timely execution based on project priorities. Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely receipt of materials and documentation. Assist in resolving invoice discrepancies with the finance team and vendors. Update procurement logs, cost trackers, and reporting systems regularly.

Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures, project specifications, and offshore operational requirements. Support internal and external audits by organizing procurement documentation and records. Key Skills and Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field. Minimum 4–6 years of experience in a procurement administrative role, preferably in the Oil & Gas or EPC industry. Familiarity with offshore procurement practices and international sourcing. Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or IFS preferred. Good knowledge of commercial terms (Incoterms, payment terms, etc. ). Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Knowledge of HSE compliance related to procurement in offshore environments is a plus. Additional Information: Offshore or site-based travel may be required depending on project needs. Should be able to adapt to multicultural work environments. Position may involve extended work hours during peak project phases
