Job DescriptionThe impact you’ll make:

As a Consultant in our Business Advisory team, you will be focused on helping small to medium sized enterprises grow and succeed. Your clients will span a variety of industries including retail, rural and services. Your Typical Day Will IncludeProviding advice on a range of business advisory and tax issues to clients, including in the context of transaction work, business operations and strategy, and domestic and international tax work. Building relationships with key client contacts.

Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and income tax returns / GST returns, as well as assisting clients in managing their tax obligations throughout the year. Assisting in the preparation of management accounts, forecasts, budgets and various other metrics required for clients on a monthly basis. Adopting different methods to collect and analyse data from various sources with the purpose of deriving insights for our clients. Supporting the team by drafting and preparing a range of client deliverables under the guidance of the leadership team.

Being present in the market and creating opportunities to build relationships across a broad range of stakeholders. You’ll Also Have1-4 years accounting’ and / or tax experience A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (or similar)CAANZ provisional or full membership ideally but not requiredPrevious experience with Xero is advantageous Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills The desire to be a team player that values input and support from team members but can also work autonomously.
