The role will be based in Copenhagen, Denmark and will report directly to the Senior Director Commercial Innovation. The Position As a Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for identifying trends and opportunities for strategic partnerships.

In addition, you will be responsible to discover, evaluate and drive new strategic opportunities, including pipeline projects and emerging technologies. Moreover, you will be responsible to lead negotiations and close deals to access external innovations. You main Accountabilities will be to:

Identify, develop, implement, and manage strategic business development partnerships that align with Novo Nordisk’s business objectives Lead and drive innovation and business development initiatives that support our mission to improve patient outcomes Build and maintain stakeholder relationships Assess new therapy areas and analyse market trends to identify opportunities for diversification and market share gain Demonstrate subject matter knowledge QualificationsAs a Strategic Partnerships Manager, you need to have a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Life Sciences, or a related field. In addition, you need to have 5+ years of experience in business development.

If you have experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry it might be an asset. To be successful in this role, you need to have: A proven track record in negotiating and closing external innovation deals Experience in developing strategic business plans and identifying new market opportunities An understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including trends and challenges facing the industry. Danish language skills preferred - professional working level On the personal level we expect you to have excellent communication skills, be execution oriented, and have consumer mindset. This isn't your typical sales role.

Instead, you'll be at the forefront of forging dynamic and strategic partnerships with external providers, shaping alliances that drive mutual success and innovation. About The DepartmentThe Customer Engagement & Commercial Innovation department’s goal is to optimize and innovate our commercial activities, always with the customer and patient at the centre. The team will be tasked with modernizing our commercial model, identifying, developing and managing commercial partnerships and go-to-market activities based on data and insights to support people living with chronic disease. The department consists of a diverse group of highly dedicated professionals.
