Team Description: The Regional Internal Compliance team ensures that Shopee complies with applicable regulations and is primed for success with the right checks and balances while safeguarding the interests of our stakeholders in an inclusive and sustainable digital ecosystem. The team manages potential risks to the company's operations and reputation through risk assessments, internal fraud control, employee training as well as the implementation of information technology policy and cyber security tools. Job Description:
Support the development and maintenance of frameworks and policies relating to anti-fraud and anti-corruption complianceDevelop training materials, communications, and plans related to fraud and corruption risk managementTimely review of reported cases of fraud and corruption breaches; identify and report fraud trendsSupport internal investigations through evidence and fact gathering, and data analysisBuild relationships and collaborate with various business stakeholders to drive process and SOP optimisation for anti-fraud and anti-corruption controlsConduct process reviews to carry out root cause analysis, assess current systems’ capabilities and limitations, identify loopholes and internal fraud risks, and propose solutions for improvement and preventive measuresRequirement:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Business / AccountingAt least 1 years of relevant work experience in audit, risk management, compliance or similar fields involving internal investigations and risk-based approachesE-commerce experience is a plusStrong communicator and influencer with the ability to work cross-functionally and internationally across different jurisdictions and culturesPositive growth mindset and able to work independentlyStrong sense of integrity; self-driven, inquisitive and resourcefulAble to adapt to a dynamic environmentDemonstrates logical thinking and questioning abilityProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Professional qualifications such as ICA, CPA and/or CFE credentials are a plusStrong analytical skills and sensitivity to dataExposure to SQL is a plusAble to challenge the status quo in an articulate and constructive manner.
