Finance Business Partner€60,000-€,70000Permanent, Full TimeCorkAn experienced Finance Business Partner is sought for a well-known business, based in the City of Cork. Baker Finn Recruitment are working closely with the executive team of a niche and market leading consultancy, who is expanding their finance function. As such has enjoyed sustained growth in this Irish operation.

Due to workload situation as a result of recent success, a Finance Business Partner is required and will support the board of Directors and work within a stable team carrying out varied duties including VAT filings, managing audits, VAT reconciliation and progressing to other duties below. Key responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner:

Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with accounting standardsAssist with month-end and year-end reporting and reconciliationsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activitiesCollaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and deliver tailored solutionsContribute to internal projects, including process improvements and compliance initiativesWork closely with senior consultants and management to develop your technical and advisory skillsHandle Intrastat reporting and other indirect tax filings as required per jurisdiction. Assist in VAT audits by responding to information requests and providing necessary documentation. Required skills and experience of the Finance Business Partner: Qualified/Newly Qualified ACA/ACCA/CTA/CIMA.

Some experience in tax is desirable, but not essential. Strong interest in developing a career in tax. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. Team player with a positive attitude. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Excellent communication and written skills.
