This role in summaryThe Commercial Analyst supports our Key Account Managers and Senior Leadership Team, enabling them to deliver their best work.
The role requires a high degree of accuracy, energy, and proactive engagement. The purpose of the role is to ensure the sales team is making data-based decisions to improve sales performance and drive better relationships with our retail partners. Your responsibilities will include Reporting and collating of commercial data for the Sales & leadership team from multiple sources. Data Analysis - including tracking progress against targets and objectives. Analysis of performance against budget, by week/month, YOY, brand, customer, product group and SKU, discretionary spend etc. Ability to summarise findings as well as deep dive.
Support forecasts with the sales team. Pricing & promotional analysis in collaboration with other teamsPromotional ROI assessmentPricing and margin analysisIdentify areas of risk and opportunity and provide recommendations to inform prioritisation discussionsPrepare materials and reports for operational reviews and business analytics that inform decision-making and track progress on goals. E. g. Dashboard pack for Exec team, monthly and quarterly business reviews. Support commercial meetings by gathering and preparing data to help the team align on priorities, challenges, and opportunities.
Maintain correct Terms and pricing in systems (including Value Chain)Continually look to improve reporting processesCollaborate with internal teams including Finance and RGM in UK and HQs in Milan and Istanbul. Provide ad hoc data and reporting projects, including preparing summaries and trend reports for leadership meetings.
