About The RoleAs a Junior People Operations Business Partner, you’ll play a vital supporting role across the employee lifecycle from employee relations to performance management, talent development and more. Reporting to the Senior People Operations Business Partner, you will work closely with hotel General Managers and People Managers to ensure consistent, compliant and people-first practices that align with our company culture and values. This is an ideal role for someone with a solid foundation in HR who is looking to grow and learn in a collaborative and supportive team.
What You’ll Be DoingEmployee & Labour RelationsSupport the Senior People Operations Business Partner with day-to-day employee relations queries and investigationsAssist in disciplinary and grievance processes (e. g. note-taking, document prep, liaising with stakeholders)Represent the business in discussions with employee representatives and/or trade unions as required.
Help ensure compliance with local employment law and internal policyCollaborate with People Managers and General Managers to promote positive working environmentsProvide administrative and coordination support for restructures or organisational changesCompensation & BenefitsSupport payroll processes where applicable, acting as a liaison between hotel teams and payroll providersAssist with the annual merit review process and data reportingHelp monitor benefit compliance and assist with mobility cases in partnership with our central teamTalent Engagement & Performance ManagementCoordinate and support employee engagement initiatives and surveysAssist with tracking performance review completion and employee development plansHelp hotel teams maintain accurate succession and talent pipelinesLearning & DevelopmentWork with the L&D Manager to support training initiatives and complianceSupport the organisation of development programmes and cross-training opportunitiesTalent Acquisition & ManagementAssist with recruitment coordination and local hiring campaignsLiaise with the Talent Acquisition team to deliver a smooth recruitment experienceWhat we are looking for:
HR Knowledge: Solid grasp of the employee lifecycle, employment law and employee relations procedures. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust across all levels of the organisation. Organised & Proactive: Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to take initiative with a proactive mindset. Collaborative & Adaptable: A team player who is self-motivated, flexible and comfortable working in a dynamic environment. Systems Proficiency: Confident in using HRIS platforms; experience with Workday is an advantage.
