Job DescriptionGreets guests over the phone in a friendly, courteous mannerRecords reservation information accurately; identifies and records group and transient business codesInforms other departments of VIP arrivalsIdentifies commissionable reservations and secures required informationRecords and processes deposit informationIdentifies and records special billing instructions; approves credit after consultation with the Revenue ManagerFiles all reservations in a systematic order for easy referralContributes to maximum occupancy of the hotel by assisting in maintaining accurate inventory control for roomsRecords requests for special accommodations and suitesAdvises and assists Front Office Manager to notify Radisson Worldwide Reservations Centre of rates and availability statusAssists with the preparation of the four day forecast and VIP listAchieves maximum occupancy and average rate by utilizing yield managementUses up-selling techniquesHandles all special requests appropriatelyPre-blocks all special requests or VIP accommodations accuratelyKeeps Front Office Manager informed of new group bookingsUtilizes guest history files for personalized service at the hotelMaximizes customer satisfaction and hotel revenue by promoting hotel restaurants and other services and facilities to guestsDeals with assigned incoming correspondence, faxes and reservation messages in a timely and accurate manner.
QualificationsMinimum 3/ 4 years in the same position in a 4/5 star hotel. Natural attitude towards providing excellent quality service. Good command of English Language (Written and Spoken)Knowledge in the Opera system. Possess a pleasing personality. Age – 25 to 35 YearsAble to work under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic and challenging work environment. Possess strong multitasking and communication skills.
