its employees!Laporte is looking for Project Manager who will be responsible for supporting & leading the requirements for our Food & Beverage client’s projects. This role will work closely with and support our process engineers with projects in all stages and requirements and requires a solid understanding of F & B engineering as well as manufacturing processes & practices.

Responsibilities And DutiesParticipate in the clients’ user requirements analysis and project definitionsLead all phases of the projects and ensure they are in accordance with the agreed scope, timelines and budgetManage and support the interdisciplinary team on siteReport project progress to clientsWork collaboratively as part of multi-disciplinary design teamsChair project team meetings and provide technical directionFacilitate daily contractor coordination meetings to ensure seamless sequencing of activitiesSupport positive client interactions and sub-consultant interfacePerform technical and cGMP audits on client’s sitesBasic Qualifications8-12 years of progressive experience in the area of Project Management for Food & Beverage industries.

Must have an engineering degree in Process/Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or any related fieldsExcellent knowledge of industry regulations, operations and facilities and document managementConsulting engineering experience an assetPreferred QualificationsStrong leadership, relationship management, organizational planning and project management skills, in addition to technical knowledgeEntrepreneurial mindset and desire for business development.
