We’re looking for an experienced Administrative Coordinator to assist and support our Director, Claims Intake & Adjudication Services at WorkSafeBC in our Surrey office. Claims Intake and Adjudication Services (CIAS) is a department of dedicated people who ensure that workers and employers in British Columbia receive the support they need after an injury or occupational disease.

Where you’ll workAt WorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid work model that combines working remotely, and in our offices based on the operational needs of the position. In this role, you’ll work primarily from our Richmond office a minimum of three times per week and have some flexibility to work from your home in B. C. Please note the on-site requirement may change based on operational needs.
What you’ll doSupport the Director and senior leadership team by performing administrative responsibilities, including maintaining calendars; managing appointments, meetings, conferences and team events; and booking meeting roomsSupport the management team on any daily responsibilities as requiredRecord, organize, and prepare complex and confidential reportsCompose written responses, memos, minutes, presentations, reports, and communications from both verbal and printed sourcesCoordinate travel arrangements and assist in tracking expenses and vacation schedules for the management teamManage equipment and accesses for employees and assist with onboarding new hiresReceive, screen, and refer incoming calls from internal and external sourcesCompose written responses, memos, minutes, presentations, and communications from both verbal and printed sourcesBuild and maintain cooperative working relationships with a variety of individualsConsistently models the appropriate level of organizational behaviors expected of all WorkSafeBC employees:
