Job DescriptionThe Data, Analytics & AI team harness our data to act faster, make better decisions, serve customers better, and drive growth through improved operations and innovationThe Data Analyst supports group-wide initiatives by analysing data to generate valuable insights and inform decision making.
You’ll collaborates with various teams to identify analysis opportunities, provide guidance on solving complex problems using data, and ensure the accuracy and reliability of data-driven recommendations that align with group goals. You’ll be exposed to a range of projects as a part of the Ampol groups core Analytics and AI team - including working with customer data within loyalty, retail performance, and core platform analyticsYou will have the opportunity toPrepare and present insightful reports and presentations to key stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights.
Deliver insights end to end, including discovery sessions with stakeholders through to dashboarding and presenting insights Drive continuous improvement in data analysis processes and methodologies to enhance the quality and efficiency of insights delivery. Serve as a subject matter expert on data analysis techniques and tools, providing guidance and support to junior analysts within the team. QualificationsWhat you’ll bring to ZHands on experience with SQL and PowerBI, bonus points for any experience with Python Proficiency in analysing large datasets using statistical methods, and data visualisation tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels. Comfortable working autonomously And of course, you’ll be passionate about what matters to Z, embracing and living our values to help us deliver on our aspirations and broader commitment to Aotearoa New Zealand.

00 to $135,000. 00 per annum, plus 15% STI based on company performance, a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution and health insurance through Southern Cross.
