"This just really emphasizes that our (Sheriff's Office) deputies are going to make every effort to find alternative solutions before resorting to the code proposed today that would actually involve notice and tow," said Supervisor Manu Koenig, a sponsor of the ordinance. "That said, we do need some enforcement capabilities because ultimately there's no incentive for bad actors to engage with our Sheriff's Office at all and work through those solutions."
