A 'beloved' mum who was found dead in the street has been pictured for the first time.
Police said the body found in the street by passers-by in Prestatyn, North Wales on Friday was that of 45-year-old local woman Angela Shellis.
A spokesperson for the family described her a "loved daughter, sister, mum and aunty" who will be "sadly missed."
An 18-year-old man arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of murder remains in custody.
Detectives were granted permission by the courts yesterday to keep him in custody as the investigation continues.
Police have urged anyone who was in the Morfa area of Prestatyn near to the football fields between 3am and 8.30am to come forward, so they can identify anyone who was in the area at the time.
North Wales Police's DCI Andy Gibson said: “The family are being supported by specialist trained officers and ask their privacy is respected during this tragic time.
“I am appealing to anyone who was in or around the Morfa area near to the football fields on Friday 24th October between 0300hrs and 0830 hours.
“Whether you believe you have anything of significance to offer the investigation, it is imperative that we identify any persons in the area during these key times."
DCI Gibson added: “An 18-yr old male remains in custody and detectives continue to interview him.
“A warrant of further detention was granted at Mold Magistrates Court on Saturday 25th October to allow us to keep the male in custody, whilst the investigation continues.
“I urge people not to speculate about the incident online.”
