'Biker Girl’ Influencer Dead: Karen Sofia Quiroz Ramirez Was 25

Social media star Karen Sofía Quiroz Ramírez has reportedly died after a motorcycle crash. She was 25.
Ramírez’s motorcycle reportedly collided with a truck on a highway in Floridablanca, Colombia, on Wednesday, November 26, according to local newspaper Metrópoles. The outlet reported that Ramírez lost control of her bike, which subsequently collided laterally with a Chevrolet Spark. Ramírez was then reportedly run over by a truck also traveling along the highway.
Ramírez was pronounced dead on the scene, per local reports, and the incident is still under investigation.
“The most likely hypothesis for the accident is that the motorcyclist was traveling between two vehicles,” transport official Jahir Andres told the Daily Mail in a Saturday, November 29, statement, referring to what is often called “lane splitting.”
“This situation will be subject to an investigation,” Andres said. “The Prosecutor’s Office will proceed to clearly and precisely determine the cause of this fatal traffic accident. We will carry out the corresponding investigations, conduct the respective interviews with witnesses, and analyze the CCTV footage.”
Just hours before Ramírez’s death, she shared a social media message about her now-final ride.
“I'm hoping I don't crash, because I'm riding without my glasses,” she wrote via her Instagram Stories, per Metrópoles.
Ramírez, best known as “Biker Girl Karen,” had more than 31,000 followers on Instagram at the time of her death. In her last upload on Wednesday, she was seen washing her black-and-pink motorcycle.
Fans have since shared their heartfelt condolences in the comments section.
"RIP beautiful women biker,” one Instagram user wrote. “I wish strength to her family members 🙏🏻.”
Another added, "Strength to your family and loved ones, God keep you in His glory.”
Other social media users offered their tributes in the comments of her other posts.
“Rest in peace, my queen, it hurts to see you under that mule,” one wrote in a translated message, while a fourth added, "God bless you my friend, rest in peace ❤️ 🙏🏼.”
An additional fan responded, “My God, Lord Jesus Christ, give strength, the family just died in a traffic accident, rest in peace.”
Other social media users will always remember Ramírez’s legacy.
“While my eyes see how beautiful you are outside,” one wrote via Instagram. “My heart feels how perfect you are inside.”
Another chimed in, “May she rest in peace 🙏🤐, she has many videos driving and recording herself, she had a lot of confidence on the motorcycle, but one mistake and it's all over, may she rest in peace. It's a shame she is so young and beautiful.”
One fan, meanwhile, offered their support to Ramírez’s family.
“Poor mom, in the end she's the one who suffers, friends and other family members will pass them the pain, but the one who stays with this very strong is her mom,” the Instagram user wrote. “[She will] find it hard to be responsible, think well, grow up and think that [her] actions can cause so much pain.”
Ramírez often shared Instagram and TikTok footage from her motorcycle rides.
"Value me, don't forget how difficult it is to handle flowers,” she wrote in Spanish earlier this month, as she posed on her bike with a bouquet.
Ramírez turned 25 just weeks before her death, simply captioning October 5 birthday pics with her new age and a sparkle emoji.
